The difference between chigger bites and bed bug bites bites are the burning, itching round red spots caused by Chiggers bite. Chiggers are also known as harvest mites. The bed bugs are flat oval shaped non-flying parasitic insects that feed on human blood. They are reddish brown in color and have a humped back.
